When the verse "And warn your closest kinsmen" [Shuara 26:214] was revealed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Safiyyah bint Abdul-Muttalib, Fatimah bint Muhammad, sons of Abdul-Muttalib, I cannot avail you anything against Allah. Ask me for whatever you wish from my wealth."

لما نزلت هذه الآية {وأنذر عشيرتك الأقربين} قال رسول الله ﷺ يا صفية بنت عبد المطلب يا فاطمة بنت محمد يا بني عبد المطلب إني لا أملك لكم من الله شيئا سلوني من مالي ما شئتم
Muslim also narrated it in the Book of Faith, chapter on the saying of Allah the Exalted, "And warn your closest relatives", hadith no. 205, through Hisham bin Urwa with this wording.There are also narrations on this subject from Abu Hurairah [to come: 3185], Ibn Abbas [Bukhari, no. 4770, and Muslim, no. 208], and Abu Musa [to come: 3186].
