The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood on the pulpit and said, "Over there is the land of trials," pointing toward the east, meaning where the trunk of Satan rises, or he said, "the horn of Satan."This hadith is hasan sahih.
حدثنا عبد بن حميد حدثنا عبد الرزاق أخبرنا معمر عن الزهري عن سالم
قام رسول الله ﷺ على المنبر فقال هاهنا أرض الفتن وأشار إلى المشرق يعني حيث يطلع جذل الشيطان أو قال قرن الشيطان هذا حديث حسن صحيح
Agreed upon (by Bukhari and Muslim). Bukhari narrated it in the chapter on Tribulations, in the section on the sayings of the Prophet ﷺ, "Tribulation comes from the east," hadith no. 7092, from the hadith of Mamar, and Muslim narrated it, hadith no. 2905, from the hadith of Zuhri, with the same wording.
