The Prophet ﷺ said, "You are living in a time when whoever among you abandons one-tenth of what he has been commanded will perish. Then a time will come when whoever among you acts upon one-tenth of what he has been commanded will be saved."

[Hasan] Ibn Adi related it in 7/2483 through the hadith of Naeem bin Hammad, and he is hasan al-hadith, as I have established in "Irshad al-Ibad ila Tarjamat Naeem bin Hammad." This hadith was criticized as objectionable in his transmission, and he used to defend himself. His hadith has supporting narrations in Ahmad, 5/155, and Bukhari in Tarikh al-Kabir, 2/374, and others.Sufyan bin Uyayna used the ambiguous form "an" in his transmission, and his use of "an" is rejected, as I have established in "Taasis fi Masalat al-Tadlis." The hadith is hasan due to its supporting narrations. On this subject there is also a narration from Abu Dharr [Ahmad, 5/155, and Bukhari in Tarikh al-Kabir, 2/374] and from Abu Saeed [I could not locate it].
