The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "What I fear most for my community is misleading leaders."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ also said, "A group from my community will continue to prevail upon the truth, unharmed by those who abandon them, until the command of Allah comes."
حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد حدثنا حماد بن زيد عن أيوب عن أبي قلابة عن أبي أسماء الرحبي
قال رسول الله ﷺ إنما أخاف على أمتي الأئمة المضلين قال وقال رسول الله ﷺ لا تزال طائفة من أمتي على الحق ظاهرين لا يضرهم من يخذلهم حتى يأتي أمر
Takhrij (source attribution): Muslim also narrated it in the Book of Leadership, in the chapter on his saying, "There will always remain a group of my nation manifest upon the truth..." etc., hadith no. 1920, from Qutayba, through the same chain.
