He reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, "I was sent at the very moment of the Hour, and I preceded it just as this one precedes that one," pointing to his index and middle fingers.

Its isnad is daif. Ibn Jareer narrated it in his Tarikh, 15/1, from Muhammad bin Umar. Tabarani narrated it, 20/204, hadith 724, from the hadith of Yahya Arhabi, with the same account, and its chain is daif. The hadith has a hasan corroborating witness in Ahmad, 5/348, with the wording, "I was sent along with the Hour together, and it nearly outstripped me."
