A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked, "Messenger of Allah, what do you say about incantations we use for healing, medicine we take as treatment, and precautions we take to protect ourselves? Do any of these turn back the decree of Allah in any way?"He replied, "They are themselves part of the decree of Allah."

أن رجلا أتى النبي ﷺ فقال يا رسول الله أرأيت رقى نسترقيها ودواء نتداوى به وتقاة نتقيها هل ترد من قدر الله شيئا فقال هي من قدر الله
