The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When Allah decrees that a servant should die in a particular land, He creates for him a need that draws him to it."
حدثنا بندار حدثنا مؤمل حدثنا سفيان عن أبي إسحق
قال رسول الله ﷺ إذا قضى الله لعبد أن يموت بأرض جعل له إليها حاجة
[Sahih]. Ahmad (5/227) also narrated it from the hadith of Sufyan Thawri through the same chain, and Abu Hamzah Sukkari followed him in a report by Hakim (12/42, 367), who graded it sahih according to the criteria of the two Shaykhs, and Dhahabi agreed with him.There is also a hadith on this topic from Abu Uzzah [to come at 2147].
