Abu Umama Bahili reported,

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say in his sermon during the Farewell Pilgrimage, "Allah has given to every rightful person his right, so there is no bequest for an heir. The child belongs to the marriage bed, and for the fornicator is the stone. Their reckoning is with Allah. Whoever claims descent from someone other than his father, or aligns himself with people other than his patrons, upon him is the continuing curse of Allah until the Day of Resurrection. A woman is not to spend from her husband's house except with his permission."Someone asked, "Messenger of Allah, not even food?"He replied, "That is the most valuable of our possessions."Then he said, "A loaned item is to be returned, a gifted animal lent for its milk is to be given back, a debt is to be repaid, and the guarantor is liable."
