Usama bin Zayd reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A Muslim does not inherit from a disbeliever, nor does a disbeliever inherit from a Muslim."Ibn Abu Umar narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, Zuhri narrated to us a similar report.

Agreed upon [by Bukhari and Muslim]. Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Inheritance, chapter, "A Muslim Does Not Inherit from a Disbeliever, nor a Disbeliever from a Muslim" etc., hadith no. 6764, and Muslim, hadith no. 1614, from the hadith of Zuhri through this route.On this subject there is also a narration from Jabir [coming at 2108] and Abdullah bin Amr [Abu Dawud, hadith no. 2911].The hadith of Malik is in Muwatta, 2/519 (Yahya).
