The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, "What an excellent servant the cupper is. He removes blood, lightens the back, and clears the eyesight."He also said that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was taken up on the night journey, he did not pass by any group of angels without their saying, "You must practice cupping."He said, "The best days on which you can be cupped are the seventeenth, the nineteenth, and the twenty-first."He said, "The best remedies you can treat yourselves with are snuff, mouth medicine, cupping, and walking."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had medicine poured into the side of his mouth by Abbas and his companions, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Who administered this medicine to me?" They all kept silent. He said, "No one in this house shall remain without having the same medicine poured into him, except my uncle Abbas."Abd said, Nadr said, "Ladud means medicine poured into the side of the mouth."
[Its chain is daif] Ibn Majah also narrated it in the Book of Medicine, Chapter on Cupping, no. 3478, from the hadith of Abbad with the same wording, but only the first hadith, and it has already appeared at 2047.There is also a report on this subject from Ayesha [Abu Dawud, no. 348, 3160, and Ahmad: 6/152].
