A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Teach me something, but do not make it lengthy, so that I may remember it."He said, "Do not become angry."The man repeated his request several times, and each time the Prophet ﷺ replied, "Do not become angry."

Bukhari also recorded it in the Book of Manners, Chapter on Being Wary of Anger, hadith no. 6116, through the narration of Abu Bakr bin Ayyash, and Ismail bin Ayyash followed him in this narration (Tamhid by Ibn Abdul-Barr, 7/249). Abu Husayn was also followed by Amash (7/248). The hadith has supporting narrations, see Targheeb wa Tarheeb, 3/445, 446.There is also a narration on this subject from Saeed [to come, 2191] and Sulayman bin Surad [Bukhari, hadith no. 6048, and Muslim, hadith no. 2610].
