The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No gift a father gives his child is better than good upbringing."
حدثنا نصر بن علي الجهضمي حدثنا عامر بن أبي عامر الخزاز
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال ما نحل والد ولدا من نحل أفضل من أدب حسن
Sourcing. Its chain is daif. Ibn Adi narrated it in 5/1740 from the hadith of Nasr bin Ali, and Ahmad in 4/77 from the hadith of Amir al-Khazzaz through him. Hakim declared it sahih in 4/263, but Dhahabi said, "Rather it is a disconnected daif report. Its chain contains Amir bin Salih al-Khazzaz, who is weak, and Musa bin Amr, who is obscure (Taqrib)."
