The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever causes harm, Allah will cause harm to him, and whoever creates hardship for others, Allah will create hardship for him."

[Its chain of transmission is daif]Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Judgments, Chapter on Judgment, no. 3635, from Qutayba, and Ibn Majah, no. 2342, from the hadith of Layth bin Saad, with the same wording. The hadith has many corroborating narrations.Luluah was deemed trustworthy by Tirmidhi alone, and Haythami followed him in al-Majma, 10/178.
