The call to prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was given in pairs, both in the adhan and the iqamah.

[Its isnad is daif] Daraqutni also narrated it, 1/249, hadith 925, from the hadith of Abu Saeed Ashaj through the same route, and Ibn Khuzayma mentioned it in his Sahih, hadith 380.Ibn Abu Layla is daif due to the poor quality of his memory. The hadith has corroborating narrations, all of them daif, which I have mentioned in Nayl al-Maqsud. The hadith of Amash is daif because of his use of "an" (indicating an unspecified link), and the hadith of Shuba is disconnected.
