I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about eating hyena, and he replied, "Does anyone eat hyena?"I also asked him about wolf, and he replied, "Does anyone with any goodness in him eat wolf?"

Its isnad is daif. Ibn Majah reported it in the Book of Hunting, chapter on the hyena, hadith 3237, from the hadith of Abdul-Kareem, with the same wording, and he is well known to be daif. Busiri graded this hadith as daif.
