The Prophet ﷺ was asked about eating lizard, and he said, "I do not eat it, nor do I forbid it."
حدثنا قتيبة حدثنا مالك بن أنس عن عبد الله بن دينار
أن النبي ﷺ سئل عن أكل الضب فقال لا آكله ولا أحرمه
Its isnad is sahih. Nasai also narrated it in the Book of Hunting, Chapter on the Lizard, 7/197, no. 4319, from Qutayba, with the same wording. It is also found in the Muwatta 2/968 (Yahya's version).
