Rukanah wrestled with the Prophet ﷺ, and the Prophet ﷺ threw him down.Rukanah said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'What distinguishes us from the polytheists is the turbans worn over the caps.'"
حدثنا قتيبة حدثنا محمد بن ربيعة عن أبي الحسن العسقلاني
أن ركانة صارع النبي ﷺ فصرعه النبي ﷺ قال ركانة سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول إن فرق ما بيننا وبين المشركين العمائم على القلانس
[Its chain is daif] Abu Dawud also narrated it in Sunan Abu Dawud, chapter on clothing, section on turbans, no. 4078, from Qutayba through the same chain. Abu Hasan and Abu Jafar are both unknown narrators.
