The bed on which the Prophet ﷺ slept was made of leather stuffed with palm fiber.
حدثنا علي بن حجر أخبرنا علي بن مسهر عن هشام بن عروة عن أبيه
إنما كان فراش النبي ﷺ الذي ينام عليه أدم حشوه ليف
Agreed upon [by Bukhari and Muslim]. Muslim narrated it in "Clothing and Adornment," the chapter on humility in dress and being content with coarse and simple clothing, etc., no. 2082, from Ali bin Hajar, and Bukhari, no. 6456, from the hadith of Hisham bin Urwa with this wording.There is also a narration on this topic from Hafsa [Tirmidhi in Shamail, no. 328] and Jabir [Muslim, no. 2084].
