I used to bathe with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from a single vessel. His hair was longer than the jummah and shorter than the wafrah.
حدثنا هناد حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن أبي الزناد عن هشام بن عروة عن أبيه
كنت أغتسل أنا ورسول الله ﷺ من إناء واحد وكان له شعر فوق الجمة ودون الوفرة
[Its isnad is hasan]. Abu Dawud also narrated it in the Trajjul chapter, "What has been said about hair," no. 4187, and Ibn Majah, no. 3635, from the hadith of Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Zinad, with this wording.
