The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The angels do not accompany a group that has a dog or a bell with them."

أن رسول الله ﷺ قال لا تصحب الملائكة رفقة فيها كلب ولا جرس
Muslim also narrated it in the Book of Dress and Adornment, chapter on the dislike of dogs and bells while traveling, hadith no. 2113, from Qutayba, with the same wording.On this subject, there are also narrations from Umar [Abu Dawud, no. 4230], Ayesha [Abu Dawud, no. 4231], Umm Habiba [Abu Dawud, no. 2554], and Umm Salama [Nasai, 8/180, no. 5224].
