The banner of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was black and his standard was white.

كانت راية رسول الله ﷺ سوداء ولواؤه أبيض
[Hasan] Ibn Majah also reported it in the Book of Jihad, Chapter on Banners and Flags, no. 2818, from the hadith of Yahya bin Ishaq, with the same chain.
