The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The martyr has six privileges with Allah. He is forgiven from the first drop of his blood, he is shown his place in Paradise, he is spared the punishment of the grave, he is kept safe from the great terror, a crown of dignity is placed upon his head, a single ruby of which is better than this world and all it contains, he is married to seventy-two wives from among the wide-eyed maidens of Paradise, and he is granted intercession for seventy of his relatives."
حدثنا عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن حدثنا نعيم بن حماد حدثنا بقية بن الوليد عن بحير بن سعد عن خالد بن معدان
قال رسول الله ﷺ للشهيد عند الله ست خصال يغفر له في أول دفعة ويرى مقعده من الجنة ويجار من عذاب القبر ويأمن من الفزع الأكبر ويوضع على رأسه تاج الوقار الياقوتة منها خير من الدنيا وما فيها ويزوج اثنتين وسبعين زوجة من الحور العين ويشفع في سبعين من أقاربه
