Ibn Abbas reported that the Prophet ﷺ, and Hajjaj reported from Hakam from Miqsam from Ibn Abbas from the Prophet ﷺ, who said, "A morning's march in the cause of Allah, or an evening's, is better than the world and all it contains."
حدثنا أبو سعيد الأشج حدثنا أبو خالد الأحمر عن ابن عجلان عن أبي حازم
عن النبي ﷺ والحجاج عن الحكم عن مقسم عن ابن عباس عن النبي ﷺ قال غدوة في سبيل الله أو روحة خير من الدنيا وما فيها
[Sahih] Ibn Majah also narrated it, no. 2755, from the hadith of Abu Khalid Ahmar with the same chain, and the hadith has many corroborating narrations, including the previous hadith.
