The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A morning spent in the cause of Allah is better than the world and all it contains, and a space in Paradise the size of a whip is better than the world and all it contains."
حدثنا قتيبة حدثنا العطاف بن خالد المخزومي عن أبي حازم
قال رسول الله ﷺ غدوة في سبيل الله خير من الدنيا وما فيها وموضع سوط في الجنة خير من الدنيا وما فيها
[Sahih] Ibn Majah also narrated it in the Book of Jihad, Chapter on the Merit of Setting Out in the Morning and Evening in the Path of Allah the Mighty and Majestic, no. 2756, from the hadith of Abu Hazim through him, and Bukhari narrated it, no. 2794, and Muslim, no. 1881, through multiple routes from Abu Hazim through him.This subject is also reported from Abu Hurairah [to come, 1649], Ibn Abbas [to come, 1649], Abu Ayub [Muslim, no. 1883], and Anas [to come, 1651].
