The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever equips a warrior in the path of Allah, or looks after his family in his absence, has himself fought."
حدثنا ابن أبي عمر حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن ابن أبي ليلى عن عطاء
قال رسول الله ﷺ من جهز غازيا في سبيل الله أو خلفه في أهله فقد غزا
Sourcing, [sahih] see the previous and following hadith. Ibn Abu Layla is Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahman Ibn Abu Layla, who is daif due to his memory, but Abdul-Malik bin Abu Sulayman corroborated him.
