I heard the Prophet ﷺ say on the day of the conquest of Mecca, "This city will never be invaded again until the Day of Resurrection."
حدثنا محمد بن بشار حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد حدثنا زكريا بن أبي زائدة عن الشعبي
سمعت النبي ﷺ يوم فتح مكة يقول لا تغزى هذه بعد اليوم إلى يوم القيامة
Reference. [hasan] Ahmad narrated it (3/412) from Yahya bin Saeed Qattan through the same route, and it has a corroborating witness in Ahmad (3/412, 4/213), with a hasan chain.On this topic there is also a report from Ibn Abbas [Bukhari, no. 1349, and Muslim, no. 1353], and from Sulayman bin Surad, which perhaps refers to nos. 4109 and 4110 in Bukhari's hadith, and from Mati [Muslim, no. 1782].
