While he was at his home in Basra, having finished the noon prayer, with his house adjoining the mosque, he said, "Stand up and pray the afternoon prayer."So we stood and prayed. When we had finished, he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'That is the prayer of the hypocrite. He sits watching the sun, and when it is between the two horns of Satan, he stands and pecks out four units, remembering Allah only a little in them.'"
