The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to take Umm Sulaym and other women from the Ansar with him on military expeditions, where they would provide water and tend to the wounded.
حدثنا بشر بن هلال الصواف حدثنا جعفر بن سليمان الضبعي عن ثابت
كان رسول الله ﷺ يغزو بأم سليم ونسوة معها من الأنصار يسقين الماء ويداوين الجرحى
