It was said, "Messenger of Allah, so-and-so has been martyred."He replied, "Not at all. I have seen him in the Fire wearing a cloak that he had taken from the spoils. Stand up, Umar, and announce that none shall enter Paradise except the believers," repeating it three times.

قيل يا رسول الله إن فلانا قد استشهد قال كلا قد رأيته في النار بعباءة قد غلها قال قم يا عمر فناد إنه لا يدخل الجنة إلا المؤمنون ثلاثا
Muslim also narrated it, in the Book of Faith, chapter on the severity of misappropriating spoils and that only believers enter Paradise, hadith no. 114, from the hadith of Ikrima bin Ammar, through the same chain.
