The Prophet ﷺ ransomed two Muslim men in exchange for one man from the polytheists.
حدثنا ابن أبي عمر حدثنا سفيان حدثنا أيوب عن أبي قلابة عن عمه
أن النبي ﷺ فدى رجلين من المسلمين برجل من المشركين
Grading, its isnad is sahih. Nasai narrated it in Al-Kubra, no. 8664, from the hadith of Sufyan bin Uyayna, and Muslim, no. 8/1641, from the hadith of Ayub, both at length and in shortened form. The statement of Uzai is sahih from him.
