I asked the Prophet ﷺ about the food of the Christians, and he replied, "Do not let any unease linger in your heart over food in which you have resembled the Christians."

Sourcing, its chain is hasan. Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Foods, chapter on the dislike of treating food as filthy, no. 3784, and Ibn Majah narrated it, no. 2830, from the hadith of Simak, with the same wording.The hadith of Adi bin Hatim has a hasan chain. The view favoring the reliability of Murri bin Qatari is the stronger one, as stated in Nayl Maqsud, no. 2824.
