Anas bin Malik reported,

When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ set out for Khaybar, he arrived there at night. It was his practice that whenever he came upon a people by night, he would not raid them until morning. When morning came, the Jews went out with their spades and baskets. When they saw him, they said, "Muhammad! By Allah, Muhammad has come with the army!"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah is the greatest! Khaybar is destroyed. When we descend upon a people's territory, "evil is the morning of those who were warned" [Saffat 37:177]."

أن رسول الله ﷺ حين خرج إلى خيبر أتاها ليلا وكان إذا جاء قوما بليل لم يغر عليهم حتى يصبح فلما أصبح خرجت يهود بمساحيهم ومكاتلهم فلما رأوه قالوا محمد وافق والله محمد الخميس فقال رسول الله ﷺ الله أكبر خربت خيبر إنا إذا نزلنا بساحة قوم {فساء صباح المنذرين}
