The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sacrificed a horned, virile ram that ate in black, walked in black, and looked through black.

ضحى رسول الله ﷺ بكبش أقرن فحيل يأكل في سواد ويمشي في سواد وينظر في سواد
Hasan. Nasai narrated it (2217, and 4395 in Adahi, chapter on the ram, from Ashaj), as did Abu Dawud (2796) and Ibn Majah (3128), from the hadith of Hafs bin Ghiyath via this route. It has a corroborating witness confirming the correctness of the hadith in Sahih Muslim (1967) and elsewhere, and by that it is confirmed as sahih.
