Abu Thalaba reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade eating any predatory animal with fangs.Saeed bin Abdul-Rahman al-Makhzumi and others narrated to us, saying, Sufyan bin Uyayna narrated to us from Zuhri, from Abu Idris al-Khawlani, a similar report.

حدثنا أحمد بن الحسن حدثنا عبد الله بن مسلمة عن مالك بن أنس عن ابن شهاب عن أبي إدريس الخولاني

عن أبي ثعلبة الخشني قال

نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن كل ذي ناب من السباع حدثنا سعيد بن عبد الرحمن المخزومي وغير واحد قالوا حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن الزهري عن أبي إدريس الخولاني نحوه

Agreed upon (by Bukhari and Muslim). Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Sacrificial Animals and Game, chapter on eating any fanged beast of prey, hadith no. 5530, from the hadith of Malik, and Muslim, hadith no. 1932, from the hadith of Ibn Shihab Zuhri, through the same chain, and it is in Muwatta 2/499.The hadith of Sufyan bin Uyayna is in Bukhari, hadith no. 5780, and Muslim, hadith no. 1932.
