Sahih. It was also narrated by Ibn Majah, Book of Purification, chapter on those who bathe from all their wives with a single ghusl, hadith 588, from the hadith of Abu Ahmad Zubayri through the same chain. Ibn Mubarak narrated it from Mamar through the same chain, and Ibn Khuzayma graded it sahih, hadith 230. Its foundation is agreed upon by Bukhari and Muslim (Bukhari, hadith 268, from the hadith of Qatada, and Muslim, hadith 309, from the hadith of Anas). There is also a version on this topic from Abu Rafi [Abu Dawud, hadith 219].
