The Prophet ﷺ set the blood money at twelve thousand. He did not mention Ibn Abbas in it, and in Ibn Uyayna's version there is more discussion than this.Muhammad bin Bashshar narrated to us, Muaz bin Hani narrated to us, Muhammad bin Muslim Taifi narrated to us, from Amr bin Dinar, from Ikrima, from Ibn Abbas, that the Prophet ﷺ set the blood money at twelve thousand.
حدثنا محمد بن بشار حدثنا معاذ بن هانئ حدثنا محمد بن مسلم الطائفي عن عمرو بن دينار عن عكرمة عن ابن عباس عن النبي ﷺ أنه جعل الدية اثني عشر ألفا حدثنا سعيد بن عبد الرحمن المخزومي حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن عمرو بن دينار عن عكرمة عن النبي ﷺ نحوه ولم يذكر فيه عن ابن عباس وفي حديث ابن عيينة كلام أكثر من هذا
[Hasan] Abu Dawud also narrated it in the Book of Blood Money, in the chapter on how much blood money is, hadith no. 4546 (b), from the hadith of Sufyan bin Uyayna, with the same chain.
