His father reported that the Prophet ﷺ granted him a piece of land in Hadramawt.Mahmud said, Nadr informed us from Shuba, and he added in it, "And Muawiya was sent to him to grant it to him."

Agreed upon [by Bukhari and Muslim]. Bukhari related it in "Cultivation and Sharecropping," chapter on the merit of planting crops and trees when something is eaten from them, etc., hadith no. 2320, and Muslim, hadith no. 1553, from Qutayba, with this wording.On this topic there are also narrations from Abu Ayub [Ahmad, 5/415], Umm Mubashir [Muslim, 1552/11], Jabir [Muslim, hadith no. 1552], and Zayd bin Khalid [I could not find it].
