Graded sahih. Ibn Majah also narrated it in the Book of Judgments, chapter on when people dispute over the width of a road, hadith no. 2338, from the hadith of Waki. Abu Dawud narrated it, hadith no. 3633, from the hadith of Muthanna bin Saeed with the same wording, and Ibn Jarud graded it sahih, hadith no. 1018. Muslim narrated it, hadith no. 1613, from the hadith of Abu Hurairah, with the wording, "If you dispute over the road, its width shall be set at seven cubits." Bukhari also narrated it, hadith no. 2473, from the hadith of Abu Hurairah with the same wording.
