The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The umra is valid for those granted it, and the ruqba is valid for those granted it."
حدثنا أحمد بن منيع حدثنا هشيم عن داود بن أبي هند عن أبي الزبير
قال رسول الله ﷺ العمرى جائزة لأهلها والرقبى جائزة لأهلها
Sahih. Abu Dawud transmitted it in the Book of Business Transactions, chapter on ruqba, hadith no. 3558, and Ibn Majah, hadith no. 2383, from the hadith of Hushaym through the same route. Abu Zubayr explicitly stated that he heard it directly in the longer version of the narration, and the hadith has corroborating witnesses.
