The Prophet ﷺ ruled based on an oath together with a single witness. He said, and Ali ruled by it among you.
حدثنا علي بن حجر أخبرنا إسمعيل بن جعفر
أن النبي ﷺ قضى باليمين مع الشاهد الواحد قال وقضى بها علي فيكم
