The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The most beloved of people to Allah on the Day of Resurrection, and the closest to Him in seating, will be a just ruler. And the most hated of people to Allah, and the furthest from Him in seating, will be a tyrannical ruler."
حدثنا علي بن المنذر الكوفي حدثنا محمد بن فضيل عن فضيل بن مرزوق عن عطية
قال رسول الله ﷺ إن أحب الناس إلى الله يوم القيامة وأدناهم منه مجلسا إمام عادل وأبغض الناس إلى الله وأبعدهم منه مجلسا إمام جائر
[Its chain is daif]. Ahmad reported it: 3/22 through the hadith of Fudayl bin Marzuk, and it is daif, as noted in Tashil al-Hajah, no. 778, and Atiya Awfi is daif and a mudallis.There is also a narration on this topic from Abdullah bin Abu Awfa [coming up: 1330].
