Its isnad is hasan. It was also transmitted by Abu Dawud in the Book of Sales, chapter on the one who consumes riba and the one who facilitates it, no. 3333, and by Ibn Majah, no. 2277, through the hadith of Simak by the same route. Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, no. 1112.The hadith has very many corroborating reports. On this subject there is also a report from Umar (Ibn Majah, no. 2276, concerning consuming riba), from Ali (Nasai, no. 5106), from Jabir (Muslim, no. 1598), and from Abu Juhayfa (Bukhari, no. 2086).
