The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A woman is like a rib. If you try to straighten her, you will break her, but if you leave her as she is, you will enjoy her despite her crookedness."
حدثنا عبد الله بن أبي زياد حدثنا يعقوب بن إبراهيم بن سعد حدثنا ابن أخي ابن شهاب عن عمه عن سعيد بن المسيب
قال رسول الله ﷺ إن المرأة كالضلع إن ذهبت تقيمها كسرتها وإن تركتها استمتعت بها على عوج
Muslim also narrated it, in the Chapter on Nursing, Section on Enjoining Kindness to Women, hadith 1470, from the hadith of Yaqub through the same chain. The hadith has multiple routes in Bukhari, hadith 5184, and Muslim and others.On this subject, there are also narrations from Abu Dharr [Ahmad, 5/150], Samura [Ibn Hibban, hadith 1308, and Tabarani in Al-Kabir, 244/7, hadith 6992, with another route in Ahmad, 8/5], and Ayesha.
