My uncle through breastfeeding came seeking permission to enter, but I refused to admit him until I consulted the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Let him come in, for he is your uncle."I replied, "It was the woman who nursed me, not the man."He said, "He is indeed your uncle, so let him come in."
حدثنا الحسن بن علي الخلال حدثنا ابن نمير عن هشام بن عروة عن أبيه
جاء عمي من الرضاعة يستأذن علي فأبيت أن آذن له حتى أستأمر رسول الله ﷺ فقال رسول الله ﷺ فليلج عليك فإنه عمك قالت إنما أرضعتني المرأة ولم يرضعني الرجل قال فإنه عمك فليلج عليك
Agreed upon [by Bukhari and Muslim]. Muslim narrated it in "Suckling," chapter "The Prohibition of Suckling from the Milk Caused by the Husband's Intercourse," hadith no. 1445, from the hadith of Ibn Numayr, and Bukhari, hadith no. 5239, from the hadith of Hisham bin Urwa, with the same wording.
