The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the price of a dog, the earnings of a prostitute, and the fee paid to a fortune-teller.
حدثنا قتيبة حدثنا الليث عن ابن شهاب عن أبي بكر بن عبد الرحمن
نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن ثمن الكلب ومهر البغي وحلوان الكاهن
Agreed upon. Muslim also reported it in the Book of Musaqah, Chapter on the prohibition of the price of a dog and the earnings of a soothsayer, etc., hadith no. 1567, from Qutayba, and Bukhari, hadith no. 2237, from the narration of Ibn Shihab Zuhri.On this subject there are also narrations from Rafi bin Khadij [to come, no. 1275], Abu Juhayfa [Bukhari, no. 2238], Abu Hurairah [Bukhari, no. 2283], and Ibn Abbas [Abu Dawud, no. 3482, and Ahmad, 1/278, 235].
