Abdullah bin Umar reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Accept the invitation when you are invited."

Darussalam

Agreed upon (by Bukhari and Muslim). It was also narrated by Muslim, in the Book of Marriage, chapter on the command to accept an invitation to a feast, in hadith 102/1429, from the hadith of Bishr bin Mufaddal through him, and by Bukhari, hadith 5179, from the hadith of Nafi through him.Others narrated on this subject include Ali [coming at 2736], Abu Hurairah [Bukhari, hadith 5177, and Muslim, hadith 1432], Bara [Bukhari, hadith 5175, and Muslim, hadith 2066], Anas [Ahmad 3/210, 270, 232], and Abu Ayub [Bukhari in Adab al-Mufrad, hadith 922].
