[Its isnad is hasan] and Ibn Majah transmitted it in the Book of Marriage, chapter "Announcing the Marriage," no. 1896, and Nasai: 6/127, no. 3371, from the hadith of Hushaym, with the same wording, and Hakim declared it sahih in 2/184, as did Dhahabi. There is also a report on this subject from Ayesha [coming up: 1089], Jabir [Ahmad: 3/391 and Nasai in his Kubra], and Rabi bint Muawwidh [coming up: 1090].
