We used to pray the noon prayer behind the Prophet ﷺ, and we would hear from him a verse here and there from Surah Luqman and Surah adh-Dhariyat.
Its isnad is daif. Ibn Majah narrated it in the chapter on establishing prayers, in the section on reciting a verse aloud sometimes during Dhuhr and Asr prayer, hadith 830, from the hadith of Salm bin Qutayba, with this wording. It is also found in the Kubra, hadith 1043.Abu Ishaq used the term "an" (indicating a possibly non-continuous chain), as noted previously, hadith 96.
