Abu Hurairah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite in the Friday dawn prayer Alif Lam Mim Tanzil and Hal Ata.

Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Jumuah, chapter, "What is Recited in the Fajr Prayer on Friday," hadith no. 891, and Muslim in the Book of Jumuah, chapter, "What is Recited on Friday," hadith no. 880, from the hadith of Sufyan Thawri through this same chain, and he heard it from Saad. It is also found in Al-Kubra, hadith no. 1027.
