The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite between sixty and a hundred verses in the morning prayer.
أخبرنا محمد بن إسمعيل بن إبراهيم قال حدثنا يزيد قال أنبأنا سليمان التيمي عن سيار يعني ابن سلامة
أن رسول الله ﷺ كان يقرأ في صلاة الغداة بالستين إلى المائة
Reported by Muslim, Prayer, Chapter on Recitation in the Dawn Prayer, no. 461, from the hadith of Yazid, by the same chain, and it is in the Kubra, no. 1020. Bukhari also reported it, no. 541, through another route from Sayyar, by the same chain, as mentioned before, no. 496.
